Ellu lives with the family Ekman in Riihimäki. She's our cattery's first leasing girl. Ellu is the bravest little girl I know and has a most charming character: she purrs easily, lifts her little bottom everytime you stroke her and talks constantly in her strange cat language.
Ellu is a mixture of her grandma Laiffi, dad Aku and grandad Boa. She has got really nice expression in her face and big eyes that are vivid dark green. The nose will be straight and the ears are of medium size but open and nicely placed. The coat is soft and short but not as dense as with his dad and grandad - her coat is similar to the coat of her grandma Laiffi. Apart from the fabulous dark green eye colour, it seems that she's got nothing in her looks from her mum Wolga. Characterwise, she has definitely inherited her mum's talkative nature. To me, she's the most beautiful Russian Blue girl born to our cattery and I wait for her kittens with high expectations.

Fanni lives with my sister and her boyfriend Topias in Helsinki. She is extremely lively, fast and social little girl who demands 100 per cent attention from her people. If that's not given, she raises her beautiful voice as if to demand "come on, let's play"! Okay, luckily she also sleeps sometimes.
From the outer appearance, she's a nice combination of Wolga's English-Scandinavian looks and Leevi's Scandinavian-American lines. The coat colour is nice middle blue and Fanni's got nice rysslook with big eyes. The nose could be straighter and the head broader as with her sister Armi. I hope she'll continue to develop into a beautiful Russian Blue female in the years to come. Fanni will have kittens in winter 2010, at the earliest.

Grigorij is my leasing male who lives with Jirko and Anu in Kotka, about 120 kilometers from Helsinki to the east. Grigorij's mother is beautiful Scandinavian Amalija from Kaija Merta's Koroleva cattery in Alingsås. Based on Amalija's pictures, I definitely wanted a kitten after her but Amalija's even more beautiful in person both in her looks and in her character. Together with Kaija, we looked for a matching male for her - Catullus' Blå Boris. Of this combination, Grigorij and his brother Grishna were born. Alert and to my eyes perfect little boy Grigorij moved to Finland on 26.3.2010. Time will tell how Scandinavian he'll be. We, however, have high hopes on that aspect! Grigorij will hopefully have 3-4 litters here in Finland, the first of which with our Fanni.

Inga is the latest arrival in our cattery. She is the result of a extensive breeding plan, which started from the visit of my C litter's male Corto to Sweden. Corto is the grandad of Inga. I wanted back my own lines combined with beautiful Swedish cats and some rare Swedish lines. I really like what I got back ;) Not only Inga seems to possess a really brave and loving personality but she has the most dense, short and dark coat I've seen in a while. The head is also very balanced with open and nicely placed ears. The eyes are now more yellow than bluish-breen but I hope the colour develops in time.
Unfortunately, soon after Inga's arrival I noticed a small umbilical hernia which was undetected in the vet examination in Sweden. She'll remain as a our beloved pet and, after the hernia surgery, possibly a show cat in our cattery. She surely has nice character for that career.

Wolga is our cattery's queen! She is unbelievably curious and playful female, who with her Swedish self-assurance immediately took her own place in our cat household. Wolga has a real talent in purring and playing - all kinds of mouses and whips are on the top of her "play list"! Like her mum Lady Rowena, I know she'll stay playful and active until the end of her days. Wolga's a real hormone female, she clearly has her good and bad days from the latter of which other cats have to suffer.
Wolga possess strong rysslook complemented with a straight nose, good angle, green eyes and very dark but silvery coat. The head could be wider and eyes better placed. Wolga has had altogether 8 kittens, 3 of which girls and 5 boys.
GIP&CH Jumillas Born To Run, Boa

Boa is and always will be the only male member in our cat family. Boa is just as wonderful as his German breeder told he would be: cuddly, sweet and playful Russian Blue with a healthy appetite. He is very easy to fall in love with: he loves to give eskimo kisses to anyone and welcomes all guests, sitting content on their laps just like on ours. This wonderful boy also feels very much at home in cat shows.
From the outer appearance Boa has inherited the looks of his American father Shrimp: the coat is short, dense and silvery and the nose absolutely straight. Despite of his nearly perfect Russian Blue look, it is his loving and caring character what charms every living thing, humans and cats included. Boa has fathered 3 litters with 6 boys and 3 girls.
CH Kuunkajon Candelifera, Laiffi

Laiffi is our first cat who holds a special place in our hearts. She is a bit shy but loud and gentle girl who likes nothing better than to sit on her mama’s or papa’s lap – or preferably on their backs. Despite of her sweet nature, Laiffi is without any doubt our shyest Russian Blue and therefore closest to the character of the original Russian Blues.
From the outer appearance, our long-legged and elegant miss bears a great resemblance to her Russian ancestors with her high-set ears and middle-blue coat. Laiffi’s eyes are beautiful light green but with a narrow yellow ring in the corner of her eye. The best thing about Laiffi is her soft and short coat with fantastic tipping. Laiffi has had 3 litters with a total of 7 kittens: 5 boys and 2 girls.
